What Makes The Shed Studio Different
The Shed Studio is about intentional movement with meaning.
We are a boutique studio by design—because personal attention matters. Whether you’re working one-on-one, in a duet, or in a small group, every session is focused, thoughtful, and tailored to your body, your needs, and your life. It’s movement that meets you exactly where you are and supports where you want to go.
Our classes are focused and challenging but yet fun and engaging —so much so that time flies. You will leave feeling accomplished, energized, and grounded, not run down. We believe fitness should enhance your life, not compete with it.
At The Shed Studio, we emphasize functional fitness—movement that helps you continue doing the things you love outside the studio. Whether that’s keeping up with your kids, boating, traveling, working long days, or simply moving through life with confidence and ease, our goal is to help your body support your lifestyle for years to come.
Yes, you will tone. Yes, you’ll get stronger. But more importantly, you will build strength that lasts—from the inside out. Strength that supports your core, protects your joints, improves posture, and deepens the mind-body connection.
We don’t believe anyone comes here from a place of “not enough,” but from a desire to feel better in the body they already have. You are already amazing and worthy exactly as you are. Pilates at The Shed Studio is about refining what’s already strong, supporting areas that need a little extra care, and empowering you to feel confident, capable, and at home in your body. With the goal of becoming a stronger version of oneself.

You’ll be introduced to the reformer, guided through proper alignment, and learn how breathing supports each movement. Every exercise is adjusted so the session feels safe, supportive, and approachable.

A Reformer uses springs and a sliding carriage to support and challenge the body through controlled, fluid movement. The springs offer both assistance and resistance, allowing exercises to be adapted more easily than mat work alone. This creates a wider range of movement options while improving strength, stability, and control.
